Bill Paper American Government

· Bill Paper

Review the North Carolina Legislature site and select a Bill of interest and discuss it in the form of a
4-5 page paper or PowerPoint presentation using the Bill Paper Rubric.  The PowerPoint must be around 10 slides and must have notes in the PowerPoint about what you would discuss in a lecture. Both the paper and presentation must have citations. Please make sure to follow the guidelines in selecting an issue, presenting multiple forms of arguments about the bill, and what you think may be missing. It is not enough to have an issue with no arguments (a bill that passed with no opposition): you must select an issue and make an argument in favor of a side. You must explain your argument and write while using evidence about what the opposition was to the bill.
