As you begin to think about small changes in your program that can make big changes in the life of a child, turn your thoughts to your own program – or one you will have one day. Select one area within your program (or a program you have been in before) that you think could be modified to be more accommodating to a child with a disability from one of this module’s categories: Autism, Deaf-Blindness, Deafness, Emotional Disturbances, Hearing Impairments, Intellectual Disabilities, or Multiple Disabilities.

For your initial post, describe the selected disability category and the area of the program, classroom, or environment you will modify. Next, describe the area and explain in detail what ways you could change that area to be most beneficial to all children in the program.
